PSA takes national Wind Power award at Science Olympiad

Two PSA students, 7th grader Yibo Chen and 10th grader Erfan Imam, are tops in the nation in the Wind Power category at the 2016 Science Olympiad. The finals were held May 18-21 at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomomie, Wisconsin.

The entire Paragon Science Academy team traveled to the finals after claiming its fourth Arizona state championship in four years this spring at the 32nd annual Arizona Science Olympiad Division B competition held April 9 at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Arizona.

Congratulations to our team of bright and hard working scholars, their coaches and parent and family supporters.

Science Olympiad is a national Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program that allows students to apply what they know in a competitive setting. Arizona Science Olympiad Division B is for middle school students, grades 6 through 9.
