Sonoran Science Academy – Phoenix, a STEM public charter school, provides a rigorous, college prep, STEM-focused education through a challenging comprehensive curriculum and continuous assessment. Successful teacher aide and/or before/after care aides will meet the following requirements:

Sonoran Schools District Office - IT Technician/Office Support

We are currently looking for a full-time IT Technician/Office Support to join our Central Office team for the 2019/2020 school year.  This position will support the IT Director in both the Tucson and Phoenix areas (1 – 3 days per week) as well as support the Accounting and Human Resources departments (2 – 4 days per week) at the Central Office. 
 
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position.  Salary: $18.00 / hour
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
?      IT Technician:
o      Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
o      Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
o      Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

?      Office Support:
o      AP/AR (Account Payable/Accounts Receivable) data entry
o      HR (Human Resources) data entry of new hires and / or employee changes
o      Filing (HR and Accounting documents)
o      Deposit reconciliations
o      Manage job postings for HR Director
o      Receptionist as needed 
 
Qualifications 
?      High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
?      One (1) year prior IT and office experience (preferred)
?      Experience with MSOffice programs and google.docs
?      Must be able to perform in a dynamic, pressure-filled work environment
?      Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
?      Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
?      Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
?      Willing to travel between school sites in Phoenix and Tucson, valid driver’s license required
?      Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (preferred)
